The Schnitz Racing 685cc Piston Kit for the '96-'20 Kawasaki KLR650 is guaranteed to reduce vibration, eliminate oil burning and increase horsepower throughout the entire RPM range of the engine. This kit really wakes up the KLR650 and gives the bike an entire new feel. These pistons have been designed by Schnitz Racing to our specifications and are the original!

Installation note
I found the pictorial guides indispensable. I did struggle with carb removal in tearing the engine down, and avoided the battle on re-assembly by simply removing the rubber boot from the intake manifold, attaching it directly to the carb, and then re-attaching it to the engine.

Very high quality kit! Went together easy with one exception, wrist pin clips were a pain. Please include tips on installation... Runs great!!

Great big bore kit guys. The bike now rev's a lot more freely with less vibes & pops the front wheel easy now. A must do for KLRs.

About 50k on the 685 kit. no burn but I do have the thermobob. runs so smooooth. I rode a friends stocker and remembered how badly they vibrate.

KLR650/705
Torque Happy. Hard First and Second Gear "Roll On's" and the front tire is up. Still motor's around town happily, but loves headed up in the mountains on cool morning's. I'm getting ready to do another- one of my friends had to have my bike after taking it for a short spin. Got his KLR650 in trade so already have something to work with.

Great product, easy to install.
This is the best upgrade I have ever made to my 2007 KLR650. There is noticeably less engine vibration.I would recommend this to all KLR owners. If your on the fence about weather to do it or not because you think it's to big of a job, go for it. They make it as easy as the alphabet with the provided instructions.
