Shipping & Returns
We ship Worldwide Daily! Note that some products cannot be shipped to international destinations (such as lithium batteries). We use UPS as our preferred shipping carrier and USPS (United States Postal Service) as our secondary carrier.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight and size based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
When you purchase an item that has been marked as "Free Shipping", Schnitz Racing will cover the ground shipping expense to the lower 48 states for that item only. Any additional items on your order that increase the package size and/or weight are not covered. Items with a fixed shipping price are calculated for shipping to the lower 48 states only.
International orders will be split into multiple packages if your order exceeds $2,500.
Canadian orders are best shipped via UPS World Wide Express as you will only have to pay for Customs Fees. If you choose to ship UPS Standard, you must pay all Brokerage Customs Fees.
Schnitz Motorsports, Inc. ships all merchandise carefully packaged and in good condition. All shipments are insured. All claims for damaged merchandise must be made with the carrier. All packaging materials must be presented to the carrier with a claim. Do Not Return damaged merchandise to Schnitz Motorsports, Inc. without prior approval.
All orders are automatically processed on our secure merchant processor and sent for shipment as soon as they are placed. During this process we incur irreversible fees. Therefore, while we understand that orders might need to be changed sometimes, we are unable to do it free of charge after a certain point. We strictly adhere to the following cancellation policy:
- If you cancel your order BEFORE it has been shipped, you will be assessed a 10% cancellation fee before credit is issued.
- If you cancel your order AFTER it has been shipped, please follow our Return Policies. The cancellation will have to be treated as a Return with all applicable fees.
We will attempt to process your order cancellation request immediately upon receipt. You should expect to receive your refund minus a 10% restocking fee within 1 week of giving your request, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
Schnitz Racing is unable to adjust or cancel orders once processed and/or shipped. Please note that all special order items cannot be cancelled once they are processed and/or shipped.
We understands that price is a key criterion when determining where to buy from. In the rare situation that you find an item elsewhere from an authorized dealer at a lower price than at Schnitz Racing, there is no need to cancel your order. Please contact one of our experienced Representatives with a price listed from an authorized dealer and we will do all that we can to match.
You may return most new, unopened standard stocking items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund minus a 20% restocking fee. We'll also refund the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
Electronics, Bodywork and Special Order items may not be returned for any reason.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply contact us via phone or email. We'll notify you of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
