Product Description
ECU Reflashing for Suzuki Hayabusa from Schnitz Racing allows us to remove the 186 top speed limiter and also raise the engine rev limiter. Secondary throttle blades open more aggressively in 2nd and 3rd gear and we do the TRE timing adjustment too. This combined with a lowered radiator fan activation temperature help keep this beast cool. Most of these bike end up on the track, so why would you want to race a restricted motorcycle?
Features:
- Raised Rev Limiter to 11,300 (+500 RPM)
- Top Speed Restriction Removed
- TRE Timing Adjustments
- Secondary Throttle Blades Open More Aggressively
- Radiator Fan Set to come on at 90*C (194*F)
- Stock Oxygen Sensor Disabled
- Optional: Disable Pair Valve (For those removing all emissions components)
- Optional: Set injector balance table to 50/50 (Allows more total fuel flow for turbo or nitrous applications. Does not add Power)
- Optional: Enable ECU engine kill for quick shifter or air shifter *Requires RSR Harness for Airshifter or Quickshifter.
- Optional: Disable Tip Over Sensor
- Optional: Adjust the Fuel Tables in the ECU to match your Exhaust System (Additional $125)
*Note: If engine kill option is added, the ECU will be locked into A Mode and can not be switched.
What is ECU Reflashing? ECU stands for "Engine Control Unit." It is the computer that takes information from the various sensors on the engine like crankshaft RPM, manifold pressure and throttle position to determine how much fuel to deliver through the fuel injectors and when to fire the ignition coils. The computer "chip" that is the heart of the ECU is usually an EEPROM -- an Electronically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory chip. The Read Only part of that means the chip retains its programming without periodic electronic refreshing; loss of electrical power doesn't lead to the chip losing its programming (It's like the CMOS BIOS of a computer). "Flashing" the chip involves electronically erasing the read only program and replacing it with new, updated information (the engine control 'map').
How can you offer this at such a low price? We have been tuning sport bikes for 15 years. Our business is offering performance products for motorcycles. If an ECU is programmed to limit power output of that engine, then our products performance will not meet your expectations. We want to ensure you get all you can out of your purchase from us. Pulling the ECU data is no longer a “black science” limited to just a handful of computer wizards that have an exclusive on this technology and expect you to pay 3 or 4 times our price. We’ve been doing this since 2006 on Suzuki sportbikes that were limited. Now we have expanded to various other models.
How does your service differ from others – Our reflashing services remove restrictions that the OEM's have programmed to meet government regulations and that reduce throttle response and power output for novice riders. You are not purchasing a “lifetime” flashing subscription for services you won’t use. Our a la carte style checkout system allows you to purchase only the options you need. While we do offer fuel adjustments to match aftermarkets exhaust systems, we believe that you should have control over fuel adjustments with units such as Power Commanders that can be adjusted to match your specific needs.
What is the PAIR Valve? The PAIR valve is a solenoid that opens to allow fresh air to enter into the exhaust system to aid in burning hydrocarbons to reduce emissions. There is no performance gain from removing the PAIR valve. The only possible benefit is reduced deceleration backfire or popping. If this is removed, a code will be tripped and the dash FI light will turn on. We can disable this in the ECU for a small fee.

Hayabusa Flashing
Definite difference. I live in Arizona and having it run cooler helps. More responsive for sure. Glad I had it done to let the bike run like it is supposed to. If you on the fence it's worth it.

Schnitz ECU Flash for 2013 Busa
WOW!! If you do nothing else to a stock Busa, Do this!! You will be very pleased at how this one thing let's the "beast" out of the cage and with fury. It provides exactly the features as advertised. Go for it!! Only one problem, feeling the new power and torque generated by this unit makes me want to do more :)

Flashed 08' Busa
This was the best mod "HANDS DOWN "I had done to my bike ..! With in conjunction to emissions system removed, Sprint P-85 replaced with the better flowing P-08 F1 85 filter the increased rpms really makes the bike screams and pulls noticeably harder & longer on the top end where this bike really wakes up going into the top speed range. I've yet to do any "recorded" top speed pulls, but from the seat of the pants I can honestly tell you that the damn bike just pulls so hard for so long thru the extended rev range. I've never had an FI light to come on and I'm confident knowing I won't get an emissions code due to the light being disabled from the ecu flash. Another important thing to point out is how so much noticeably stronger the bike pulls in the low to mid range (2nd gear to 4th gear) area. The power hits so aggressive the second you pull on the throttle. As for the fan, I performed a couple of heat cycles while looking and listening for the fan to trigger sooner and it did. I pointed my laser thermometer at the engine block while waiting for the temp to rise to 190° plus and the fan came on around low 190° 'ish. I should've done this mod alot sooner, but as they say better late than never..Thanks making my bike better Schnitz Racing!!

2008 Suzuki Hayabusa ECU FLASH
Definitely feel the difference throughout the power band, nothing dramatic but more linear. No more nose diving engine braking, did rid the deceleration pop that existed. Fans coming in sooner is a welcomed addition in traffic. All in all would definitely purchase again & highly recommend.
