The stock Suzuki Hayabusa engine is turbocharger-compatible, with the level of boost it can handle depending on factors like engine generation, mileage, and wear. Here's a general overview:
- Hayabusa 99-07 (Gen 1): Maximum 6psi, with weak spots identified in piston and valve springs.
- Hayabusa 08-20 (Gen 2): Maximum 4psi, with weak spots in pistons and valve springs.
- Hayabusa 2022 (Gen 3): Maximum 4psi, with weak spots in pistons and valve springs.
Stage 1 (up to 350hp) Engine Build List:
