Product Description
Schnitz Racing offers ECU reflashing for popular sport bike models to increase performance and removed OEM/government restrictions.
Most new motorcycles are restricted in one or more of the following ways:
- Decreased Ignition Timing at High RPM and/or Lower Gears (1-2-3-4)
- Limited Hard Acceleration by Restricting Secondary Throttle Blade Opening
- Reduced Peak Power Output by Limited Ignition Timing and/or RPM
- Top Speed Limit or High Gear RPM Limits
These restrictions are used to control power output to allow easier control of the motorcycle for street conditions. However, these will limit the full potential of engine for racing use. Allow us to eliminate these restrictions and allow your engine to run the way it should.
Suzuki GSXR750 (08-10) Reflash Features:
- Increased Rev Limiter to 15,000RPM (+500rpm over stock)
- Top Speed Restriction Removed
- Secondary Throttle Blades Open More Aggressively And Stay Open
- Ignition Timing Retard Disabled
- Stock O2 Sensor Disabled
- Radiator Fan Set to Come On at 90*C (194*F)
- Optional: Disable PAIR Valve FI Code (If removing emissions components)
- Optional: Disable Exhaust Servo Motor (If using a full exhaust system)
- Optional: Disable Idle Solenoid Control (If wanting to adjust idle RPM Manually)
- Optional: Disable Steering Damper (For aftermarket damper use)
- Optional: Disable Coil FI Code (For coil kill modules used in air shifters and quick shifters)
- Optional: Adjust the Fuel Tables in the ECU to match your Exhaust System (Additional $125)
What is ECU Reflashing? ECU stands for "Engine Control Unit." It is the computer that takes information from the various sensors on the engine like crankshaft RPM, manifold pressure and throttle position to determine how much fuel to deliver through the fuel injectors and when to fire the ignition coils. The computer "chip" that is the heart of the ECU is usually an EEPROM -- an Electronically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory chip. The Read Only part of that means the chip retains its programming without periodic electronic refreshing; loss of electrical power doesn't lead to the chip losing its programming (It's like the CMOS BIOS of a computer). "Flashing" the chip involves electronically erasing the read only program and replacing it with new, updated information (the engine control 'map').
How can you offer this at such a low price? We have been tuning sport bikes for 15 years. Our business is offering performance products for motorcycles. If an ECU is programmed to limit power output of that engine, then our products performance will not meet your expectations. We want to ensure you get all you can out of your purchase from us. Pulling the ECU data is no longer a “black science” limited to just a handful of computer wizards that have an exclusive on this technology and expect you to pay 3 or 4 times our price. We’ve been doing this since 2006 on Suzuki sportbikes that were limited. Now we have expanded to various other models.
How does your service differ from others – Our reflashing services remove restrictions that the OEM's have programmed to meet government regulations and that reduce throttle response and power output for novice riders. You are not purchasing a “lifetime” flashing subscription for services you won’t use. Our a la carte style checkout system allows you to purchase only the options you need. While we do offer fuel adjustments to match aftermarkets exhaust systems, we believe that you should have control over fuel adjustments with units such as Power Commanders that can be adjusted to match your specific needs.
What is the PAIR Valve? The PAIR valve is a solenoid that opens to allow fresh air to enter into the exhaust system to aid in burning hydrocarbons to reduce emissions. There is no performance gain from removing the PAIR valve. The only possible benefit is reduced deceleration backfire or popping. If this is removed, a code will be tripped and the dash FI light will turn on. We can disable this in the ECU for a small fee.
What is the Exhaust Valve Servo Motor? The exhaust valve is a butterfly valve in the OEM exhaust system that is used to lower exhaust noise. Many aftermarket exhausts eliminate this valve. If a delete device is not installed, a code will be tripped and the dash FI light will turn on. We can disable this in the ECU for a small fee.

ECU Reflash
BEAST MODE! I was lucky enough to find a very well kept and pristine 2008 GSXR 750 with 6200 miles. I was bone stock except for a Two Brothers Slip-On. I did notice it would drop rpm after about an hour of run time while cruising in fourth/fifth gear around 5500rpms. Plus the throttle just didn't feel right. I dunno one of those zen things that comes with riding for 30 years. I did a ton of research and discovered the O2 sensor in these things caused problems like I was experiencing. I called the local dealership and it was $401 for a new O2 sensor!! I then thought I would just take it off so I started researching options and came across the ECU Reflash option. I called two other very well known reflash companies and didn't get a great response. I called Schnitz Racing and they were so helpful and answered my technical questions about the O2 sensor. I also watched a youtube interview with Schnitz Racing that showed the level of commitment and experience they have in the motorcycle world. I ordered the ECU reflash and sent out my ECU on Friday morning as soon as USPS opened. I got the ECU back on Wednesday! Dang fast service! I put in a new K&N Air Filter, disconnected the O2 Sensor, installed the ECU and "I went to the Danger Zone" OMG! The bike is some much more of everything! Throttle response is amazing and all through the powerband its insane. The bike sounds amazing now. The issues I had a completely gone! I have my dream bike now thanks to Schnitz Racing and their amazing customer support. Thank you! Stop thinking about it and just do it!

The best bang for your buck. I was amazed with the product and turn around.
As I have been searching the inner Web for someone to flash my ecu, I had scored some info from a friend that he only uses Schnitz Racing for all his needs so I gave it a shot and found that for the price they had go to the next level and programed my ecu to it best set up. They are #1 in my book and they will have all my business in the future.
