Schnitz Billet Velocity Stacks, Suzuki Hayabusa (08-20)

Product Description

These aluminum stacks are machined from solid billet and feature a tapered transition to a flare with a maximum 74.5mm dia. OD for optimized air flow.  They perfectly match the 52mm ID of the throttle body.  Being aluminum, they hold their shape and are immune to temperature changes- and sound great.  Molded neoprene seals are included which fit the Hayabusa airbox and allow reuse of the Suzuki clamps.

Two lengths of velocity stacks are offered; 40mm and 60mm. The 60mm stacks are offered as a set or paired with a set of short stacks, similar to the stock Hayabusa setup.

Four different kits are offered.  The optimum set up for your bike depends on the modification of the bike and your objectives. Some general guidelines are:

4 x 40mm stacks (+4 seals)- This is the “HP kit”.  Often used on highly modified engines and long duration cams with performance exhaust, where horsepower at high rpm is desired.

2 x 40mm + 2 x 60mm (+4 seals)- This is the “street kit”- Best used on street bikes or anywhere a wider power band is desired.  Note that if used with the Hayabusa airbox, the (2) 60mm stacks will fit on each end but the airbox will need to be modified if they are located in the center positions.

4 x 60mm stacks (+4 seals)-This is the “torque kit”.  They improve torque and hp about 800 to 1000 rpm lower in the power range than the 40mm stacks.  Note that the Hayabusa airbox needs to be modified to fit the 60mm stacks in the (2) center positions.

4 x 40mm, 4 x 60mm (+4 seals)-This is a tuner’s kit.  It offers both lengths so different combinations can be tested.
