To lower your bike for better launches, you need the Tiger Tail Inner Fender. This inner fender replaces the stock plastic inner fender to not only gain clearance to the rear tire, but also provides a clean surface for mounting electronics and accessories under the seat.

Exactly what I needed
I bought a ZX14R (used) that was too low, probably tuned for racing. On the street, potholes made the rear tire hit the fender, creating a big hole. I had it adjusted in the shop, and they recommended this part. I found it after an internet search. If it ever happens again, the tire will hit solid metal and not plastic.

Didn't gain clearance stock wheel base, but gained a lot stretched.
The quality and fitment of the product were great. Needed to remove tank and rear plastics to install. I did not gain any clearance with stock wheel base, but around ~2.5" when stretched. You need to also remove your tool box and you lose some of your electronic mounts from the stock fender. The plastic under your fuel tank/pump is part of the stock inner fender which will need to be removed too.
