This kit really wakes up the KLR650 and gives the bike an entire new feel. These pistons have been designed by Schnitz Racing to our specifications and are the original!

Great fix to burning Oil
Did this upgrade about 2 1/2 years ago or about 23,000km. I have to say it completely fix the oil burning issue, now not a drop. Always nice to use a forged.

The best upgrade for your KLR
I have installed a couple of these over the years and it still remains the best big-bore kit for your KLR. It includes everything you need, from gaskets to a comprehensive instruction set. The first kit I installed was on my own bike, years ago. I have now done more than 90 000km since then and the bike still doesn't use oil. Thanx for doing the KLR community a great service.

UR gonna love it
The only question you will ask yourself is, why didn't I do this sooner. The toughest part of this rebuild was finding a machine shop to do bore and hone, because it is a large bore job. It's just over 4" and the shops around here didn't have a bore bar that large. You are going to be amazed at the extra power... Not a tub, but enough to ease up the front tire in 2nd gear... Mine never did that before. Another and quiet. Might as well get the thermo-Bob while you have it torn down. GET THIS KIT!!! You won't regret it!
