Product Description
Schnitz Racing's Low-Profile 7" Radiator Fan helps keep everything from hot-running stock motors to heavy-breathing hot rods cool in sizzling summer traffic or in the heat of drag-strip competition.
Packing 10 curved blades in a 7.5 in. wingspan, the fan blows up to 1100 cubic feet per minute, propelling more air than most stock fans. The injection-molded plastic blades are reversible to adjust flow. With a profile only 2.5 in. thick, it is 8.25 in. wide and weighs just 1.8 lbs. The Schnitz blower can be used as a bike's primary cooling unit, mounted in tight confines beside its stock fan as a secondary fan that doubles the breeze, or attached to a custom radiator.
These work great on the ZX-14 (06-11) and Hayabusa (99-07) as a secondary fan!
Engineered for universal fitment to most motorcycle radiators, the kit comes with brackets, lock collars and insulation that secures the fan directly to radiators via four mounting holes spaced 6 in. apart.
The Schnitz fan works with 12- to 15- volt power supplies, draws just 3 amps and can be configured to spin up automatically by thermostat or switched on manually to provide constant airflow in stop-and-go traffic or the burnout box.
In a world where efficient cooling is directly proportional to consistent horsepower output and long engine life, Schnitz's small, lightweight fan helps avoid engine damage from overheating during low-airflow operation and increase fuel mileage.
WIRING - Simply tie the Schnitz Radiator Fan into the stock fan wiring by connecting the black wire to the ground on the stock fan, and connecting the blue to the +12v wire on the stock fan. Be sure to increase the radiator fan fuse by 5 amps.
*Note - This is a universal fan and is not bike specific. We recommend you check for proper clearance before ordering.

Cooling fan
This fan definitely took care of my bike over heating and was a easy install

Doesn't like the heat from the header
The fan still works, it is not touching the header, but the plastic is being melted by the heat from the header. It still does it's job perfectly though

Low profile fan
I like the low profile fan. I was questioning whether or not it would fit but it fits like it was made for the bike. Easy to attach to the radiator and I ran mine off of a switch. In traffic on hot days my original fan never kicks on. I switch the fan from Schnitz on and no problems overheating.

Great fan
This fan helped solve my cooling problem on my 08 zx14. Had to readjust it a few times to find the right spot to install it, but it's been on there and works great.

Doesn't fit very well
I have a gen 1 zx14 with brocks penta carbon exhaust. I can't seem to get this fan to fit without rubbing on the header.

Outstanding
I've installed this fan on several 99-07 Hayabusas, and with the minimum amount of modification due to aftermarket exhaust space requirements, these fans do the job. Stock exhaust it fits like a glove. Fan flow is outstanding, and puts the cooling to the correct side of the radiator. Truly a great add-on that helps the cooling system to do it's job. No more needle climb. I've had one on my daily driver for about ten years now. Works great !.

7" Radiator fan
Just finished fitting the fan on my gen 1 Turbo Busa. Fitted in perfectly as a second fan on the left side and made a huge difference. Thank you so much. Think Ill replace the standard one with one of these soon.

I need airflow!!!
'11 Speed Triple would overheat during hot Texas summers. Tried replacing the stock fan with this one. No substantial improvement. Really wanted to mount dual fans, but not enough room. Should have ordered the 5" to mount dual fans side by side. This fan stayed on the shelf for almost a year, and summer is here again. Got out the grinding wheel and trimmed a few parts to make both fans fit. You can mount two fans, but you'll be giving your Speed Triple naked a streetfighter look. So far, it seems to be working fine. My fans cycle on and off instead of having the stock fan run continually.
