Product Description
The DME Racing Air Ram Chain Tensioner is designed to load the chain with pressure during acceleration to help eliminate chain skipping. A check valve is used to maintain pressure on the chain during deceleration to maintain tension.
This kit is very useful with motorcycles equipped with long swingarms and smaller rear sprockets.
While initially designed for use on turbo and supercharged applications by connecting the air ram to boost pressure, this kit can be used on a normally aspirated motorcycle by using some type of pressure regulator and air source.
FITMENT
- This kit must be mocked up for proper fitment/operation and welded to an aluminum swingarm by a qualified welder.
