With a thickness of only 1.5 inches, this oil pan offers significant ground clearance, allowing you to push your ZX14R to the limits without worrying about scraping or bottoming out. The billet aluminum construction ensures durability and longevity for years of reliable service.

The internal baffling and trap door, along with the windage tray built-in, work together to prevent oil sloshing and keep oil properly distributed within the pan, even during aggressive maneuvers or high-speed runs. This helps to avoid oil starvation and ensures consistent oil pressure for optimal engine performance.

The kit also includes an oil filter relocator, providing added convenience and versatility. Please note that the oil filter relocator was designed using Muzzy Sidewinder Exhaust Systems. Other sidewinder exhaust systems and turbo systems may require the use of a specific shorter oil filter, such as the Yamaha 5DM-13400-00-00 or Hiflofiltro 204. It is important to ensure proper clearance and a secure seal between the oil filter and the relocator.

During installation, the stock oil cooler assembly will be removed, and the corresponding radiator hose(s) will need to be plugged, pinched, or welded shut. Please take this into consideration before proceeding with the installation.

*The oil filter relocator was designed using Muzzy Sidewinder Exhaust Systems.  Other sidewinder exhaust systems and turbo systems may require the use of a Yamaha 5DM-13400-00-00 or Hiflofiltro 204 oil filter (shorter than stock).  We caution that when installing this oil filter, to make sure the oil filter does not bottom out on the stud before sealing against the relocator.
